The Amish are known for their distinctive dress, habit of using horses and buggies, and old-fashioned way of life. But on Labor Day weekend in Arthur, Ill., they’re also known for cheese.
The Amish Country Cheese Festival, held in Arthur for more than 35 years, will take place this weekend. The event will include a 5K race, cheese-eating competitions, and more than 600 pounds of free cheese.
